There’s Something I Have to Tell You – An Open Letter to My Fantastic Followers

I always listen and I’ve heard you loud and clear.

According to the stories you’ve shared with me, many of you reading this have built an amazing life through fascinating blue-collar careers. Even if you haven’t lived a blue-collar life, I’m sure you understand, those same blue-collar careers are the backbone of this great country.

I’ve also heard that many of you feel the younger generation is turned off by, or at least unwilling, to work hard at a skilled trade to make a better life for themselves. I’ve heard your apparent support for filling the skilled trades gap and helping show how awesome blue-collar careers can be. I’m sure you can agree with me that we need to have more impact in that area. Something needs to be done.

So, I did something.

Something that I’m sure, with your help, will show the next generation of workers that Blue Collar is Cool. It always has been, and always will be.
